WisR wins EY Entrepreneur of the Year Award

On the 18th of October, the auditing and consulting firm EY presented the EY Entrepreneur Of The Year Award in Austria for the 14th time. Around 600 guests attended the gala in the ballroom of the Vienna Hofburg.

The EY Entrepreneur Of The Year award is one of the world’s most prestigious awards for entrepreneurs. For over 30 years, EY has honored selected entrepreneurs in 60 countries for outstanding achievements.

The jury’s assessment criteria included growth, future potential, innovation, leadership, and social responsibility.

WisR, the job platform for senior talents, won the award in the “Social Entrepreneur” category.
The prestigious award was accepted by CEO Klaudia Bachinger and CFO Carina Roth at the gala in the Vienna Hofburg.

This year, prizes were awarded by the jury of experts in five categories: “Industry & High-Tech”, “Retail & Consumer Goods”, “Services”, “Start-ups” and “Social Entrepreneur”. This year, EY also awarded the “Special Prize of Generations”.

Martin Rohla was awarded Entrepreneur of the Year in the category “Social Entrepreneur”. With Habibi & Hawara, he opened a restaurant that offers entrepreneurial training to refugees.
